Bruges is a compact city, made for walkers and bikers. The use of motorized transport in the historic city centre is strongly discouraged. Almost all roads are "one way"

On this page we inform you about parking a car in Bruges.

PUBLIC/FREE: for parking you can use the FREE park&ride car parks or Randparking sites around the city centre, just outside the Ring R30. These parkings are unlimited in time and free of costs. From there you can reach B&B De Corenbloem by foot, by bike or by public transport. Advise to drop off lugage at the B&B first! More information click HERE

PUBLIC/FREE: a blue zone has been created around the city centre. You can park free of charge for a limited period in this blue zone (MAX. 4 HOURS) between 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Always remember to use your parking disc! Advise to come to the B&B first to drop off lugage.

PUBLIC/PAID: the city centre is paid parking from 09.00 a.m. to 20.00 p.m. Limited time is MAX. 4 HOURS! Also on Sundays and public holidays. Your stay is metered. Pay 0,10 for 30 minutes (short stay, perfect for luggage drop off at our B&B). Longer stays: 1st hour 2 euro, 2nd hour 3 euro, 3rd hour 4 euro and 4th hour (max!!) 5 euro. Payment can be made via SMS/text message, using the 4411 app (only for Belgian mobile phone numbers) or by cash or bank card (rest of the world) at one of the parking ticket machines. The correct number plate of your car must always be entered into the machine. The machines are multi-langual. Place ticket well visual behind the wind screen!

PRIVATE/PAID: parking in the city-centre is unlimited in time and most cost-effective at one of the private exploited car parks. No reservation possible, except Parking Station (see below)

Parking Zilverpand, Zilverstraat, 392 places, 4 electric.

Parking Station, Railwaystation, reservation possible. 1723 Places, 2 electric, 23 handicapped.
From this parking you can take a FREE centre shuttle to city centre, max. 4 persons per car. Time table for centre shuttle and route are indicated in pictures below, closest stop is busstop "Jan van Eijck" and from there 4-5 minutes on foot to the B&B.
